Âé¶¹´«Ã½ alumni students who are pursuing a Master of Arts in Education (MAED) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ alumni students who have re-enrolled into the MAED or MSN programs after being in a different program are also eligible for this promotion. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ alumni students who began pursuing a master's degree outside of the MSN or MAED programs prior to October 1, 2025 who received the Alumni Master's Resource fee will continue to the benefit for two years (730 days) from the start of their master's program. 

Program benefit

Eligible students will receive the resource fee waived for two years (730 days) from the start of their master's program.

Eligibility criteria

Eligibility for the Alumni Master's Resource Fee is based on the satisfaction of the following criteria:

  • Student must be an alum of Âé¶¹´«Ã½
  • Student must be enrolled in either the Master of Arts in Education or Master of Science in Nursing programs
  • Student enrolled in a master's program outside of the Master of Arts in Education or Master of Science in Nursing who received the Alumni Master's Resource Fee benefit prior to October 1, 2025 will receive the benefit for two years (730 days) from the start date of their masters program
  • Student does not have an outstanding balance on their account

Students changing programs will not result in a retro resource fee discount for courses taken prior to enrollment in eligible program.

Application & timing

For eligible students, the resource fee of $195 will be waived automatically. The student will not need to do anything to receive the waived fee for the first two (2) years of their program. 

Ineligible population

The Alumni Master's Resource Fee is not applicable and will not be issued to:

  • Students who are not alumni of Âé¶¹´«Ã½
  • Students who are not pursuing and/or starting a master's degree that is part of the MSN or MAED programs who have not already received the Alumni Master's Resource Fee
  • UOPX employees, faculty, spouses and dependents
  • Students enrolling in single courses or stand-alone certificates
  • Students enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Students receiving any employer benefits or discounts (including but not limited to TAPCAP tuition benefits)
  • Students receiving military tuition rate
  • Students on any other discounts, offers or promotions not included above
  • Students who enroll and start their first course outside the eligible window
